White Card Course (General Construction Induction Training)

Selected students have the opportunity to take part in the General Construction Induction Training (GIT). 

Upon successful completion of the training, students apply to WorkCover NSW for the General Construction Induction Training (GIT) Card, previously known as the “Construction Induction Card” or “White Card”. WorkCover NSW will send the GIT Card to the student’s home address.  

It is a legal requirement that students must have on their person at all times, when carrying out construction work, either a General Construction Induction (GIT) Card or a valid Statement of Training to prove completion of General Construction Induction Training. Students must not go out on work placement or work experience unless they can comply with this requirement.

The Course is $30 with the Education Pathways Program covering $20. The remaining $10 is to be paid by students.
