Meet an Astronaut - Katherine Bennell-Pegg

Year 10 students will participate in a visit from Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Australian astronaut and space engineer. As the first person qualified as an astronaut under the Australian flag and the Director of Technology for the Australian Space Agency, Katherine will deliver a 30-minute keynote address followed by a Q&A session.

Katherine will share how her early passion for space and engineering has driven her remarkable career developing space programs, technologies, and missions worldwide. Students will learn about her work as technical lead on Australia's first Moon rover mission and her role in developing plans to capitalise on Australia's space capabilities.
