Willyama Year 9 students have an exciting opportunity to attend a day excursion to Fowlers Gap Research Station to learn about the importance of biodiversity in the Arid Zone, research that is conducted at Fowlers Gap and hands-on learning experiences connected to Arid Zones. Students will engage with Fowler's Gap researchers, participate in a walk to identify abiotic and abiotic aspects of the arid environment and conduct hands-on learning to make connections between plants, animals and the ecosystem.

Spaces are limited to 20 Willyama students as BHHS students have also been invited on this excursion.

Students will participate in a 1-hour lesson on Wednesday 25 June, to learn about biodiversity and to conduct some initial research about Fowlers Gap.
