If a student requires prescribed or non-prescribed medication (Panadol, Nurofen etc) at school, parents/carers must complete a written request. Students must not carry medications unless there is a written agreement between the school and the student’s parents/carers.
Students must not share medications at school. For further information please refer to Administering prescription medication (nsw.gov.au)
When a medical practitioner has prescribed medication that must be administered during the school day, parents/carers must:
- notify the school
- provide up to date information as required
- supply the medication and any 'consumables' necessary for its administration in a timely way.
If your child requires medication at school, please complete and return the Request for Support at School of a Student’s Health Condition to the Front Office.
